Dollar General intends to open in the Eastside area of Jacksonville.

The city is reviewing a plan for a store at 1040 E. Eighth St. Concept Development Inc. of Gainesville is the developer.

CHW is the civil engineer.

The city is reviewing a zoning exception for retail sales on the industrial site, which is in a designated Brownfields Area.

The property is within the boundaries of the East Jacksonville Neighborhood Action Plan.

Commonwealth convenience store

The city calculated a mobility fee of $346,799 for a proposed 5,244-square-foot convenience store, drive-thru coffee shop and gas station with 12 fueling positions on 1.14 acres at 6707 Commonwealth Ave.

Prem & Alaina LLC is the developer. Commonwealth JASZ Inc. is the property owner. EnVision Design + Engineering LLC is the civil engineer.
