Retail notes: Publix renovating in Neptune Beach; American Signature at Regency

Gate to rebuild Dunn Avenue store, pursuing Max Leggett Carwash; Wawa to Baymeadows and Arlington.

Publix Super Markets Inc. is renovating its store in the Seminole Shoppes at 650 Atlantic Blvd. in Neptune Beach.

Elkins Construction LLC is the contractor for the $800,000 interior demolition and remodeling project to include the pharmacy, customer service, entrance, bakery, deli, meats and produce.

There also are new dock guard rails at the loading area.

American Signature Furniture in Regency

American Signature Furniture will renovate its 9400 Atlantic Blvd. store in Regency Park at a cost of $400,000.

Commercial Construction Management Inc. is the contractor for the 46,306-square-foot project at 9400 Atlantic Blvd.

Gate Petroleum on Dunn Avenue

Gate Petroleum Co. filed plans with the city to rebuild its convenience store and gas station at 4234 Dunn Ave. Prosser Inc. is the civil engineer. The new station will comprise 6,500 square feet with 12 fueling stations.

Gate Express Carwash to North Jacksonville

Gate Express Carwash asked JEA for service availability at Max Leggett Parkway in North Jacksonville.

Wawa to Baymeadows and Arlington

The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing an application for a 6,119-square-foot Wawa gas station and convenience store on 3.01 acres at southeast Baymeadows Road and Baymeadows Way.

Bohler Engineering is the civil engineer.

The city is reviewing civil site plans for a 5,636-square-foot Wawa store on 1.94 acres at northeast University Boulevard and Arlington Road.
