The city issued a permit Aug. 12 for J.E. Dunn Construction to build the foundation for RH, previously known as Restoration Hardware, at St. Johns Town Center.
The $150,000 foundation is planned on a cleared site at 4831 Village Shops Way. J.E. Dunn, of Kansas City, Missouri, is listed as the contractor for the proposed $18 million construction of the three-story, 48,426-square-foot home furnishings retail store that will offer a rooftop restaurant and bar.
The parking lot pavement has been removed and the site is fenced.
The city is reviewing a permit application for Gate Petroleum Inc. to renovate its 6,667-square-foot gas station and convenience store at 11350 Baymeadows Road at an estimated cost of $465,000.
The city is reviewing a permit application for AutoZone to build a store at 6765 Dunn Ave in North Jacksonville at an estimated cost of $650,000.
The St. Johns River Water Management District is reviewing plans for that AutoZone and another along Race Track Road in Bartram Market in St. Johns County.
The city issued concurrency reservation and mobility fee calculation certificates for 7-Eleven to develop an almost 1-acre site at 10560 Old St. Augustine Road for a 3,454-square-foot convenience store and gas station with 16 fueling positions.
The property, at northwest Old St. Augustine and Hartley roads, formerly was a Bank of America branch with teller lanes.
It sits in front of the Crossroads at Mandarin shopping center.
