Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan contributed $50,000 toward Mayor Alvin Brown’s re-election efforts, according to Brown’s February financial report filed with the state.

In all, Brown collected $148,000 through a “Taking Jacksonville to the Next Level” political action committee for the month. The committee is separate from local contributions, which for the month of February must be filed by Monday.

Other donations for Brown from the report include $25,000 from attorney Wayne Hogan, $25,000 from law firm Farah & Farah and $10,000 from Waste Management Inc. of Florida.
