A long-discussed Southbank residential development is just City Council approval away from becoming reality. Developers have been eying the lot between the Riverplace Tower parking deck and the Radisson for years. At Wednesday’s joint Downtown Development Authority and Jacksonville Economic Development Commission meeting, American Land Housing Group, Inc. of North Miami Beach, received the go-ahead for two residential tower projects. Phase I calls for a 32-story tower with 362 units while Phase II consists of a 36-story tower with 346 units. Both the DDA and the JEDC approved the project.
