Southwest Airlines adds nonstop service to St. Louis, Washington, D.C.

The daily flights from Jacksonville will begin March 11.

 Southwest Airlines will offer daily nonstop flights from Jacksonville International Airport to St. Louis Lambert International Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport beginning March 11.

“Service between Jacksonville and St. Louis will connect two cities with strong business ties. Nonstop flights to our nation’s capital are good for both business and leisure travelers,” said Jacksonville Aviation Authority CEO Mark VanLoh in a news release.

Daily flights to St. Louis will depart JAX at 1:35 p.m. EST and arrive about 2:55 p.m. CST. Flights from St. Louis will depart at 3:50 p.m. CST and arrive in JAX at 6:45 p.m. EST.

Flights to Washington, D.C., will depart JAX at 3 p.m. EST and arrive at 4:55 p.m. EST.  Flights to JAX will depart Washington, D.C., at 1:55 p.m. EST and arrive at 4 p.m. EST. Schedules will vary on Saturdays and arrival/departure times will change mid-April.

When the new routes start, Southwest will provide service to nine destinations in its network from JAX.
