Summit Contracting Group Inc. employees, clients and subcontractors surprised President Marc Padgett last week to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his founding and ownership of the company. Director of Client Relations Aaron Trascritti said it was difficult keeping the secret because Padgett comes into the office 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Trascritti said many of the subcontractors and clients as well as a few employees in attendance had worked with Padgett since the beginning. The company employs about 100 people. Those who couldn’t attend logged into a video conference so they could take part. Padgett’s wife, Nicole, right, helped arrange the party at Summit Tower at 1000 Riverside Ave.
