Tim McGraw reschedules Florida Forum appearance

Super Bowl champion and broadcaster Terry Bradshaw now will launch the Speaker Series on Oct. 26.

Performer Tim McCraw’s planned September appearance at the Florida Forum Speaker Series has been rescheduled for Feb. 16, the Women’s Board of Wolfson Children’s Hospital announced Aug. 12.

The news release said McGraw rescheduled to begin production of “1883,” the prequel to the television series “Yellowstone.” He was scheduled to speak Sept. 22.

 The Florida Forum Speaker Series also features four-time Super Bowl champion and broadcaster Terry Bradshaw on Oct. 26 and Maj. Gen. Charles F. Bolden Jr., a retired Marine officer, astronaut and former NASA Administrator, on Nov. 17.

 The series will take place at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts.

The moderators are former Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Jeff Lageman, Retired Navy Capt. Mark T. Gould and former Jaguars broadcaster Jennifer Candelino.

The Florida Forum hosts speakers annually to raise awareness and funds for Wolfson Children’s Hospital of Jacksonville. Since it started in 1992, it has raised more than $9.2 million for the hospital. 

Tickets for the event are on sale at https://www.womensboardwch.com/2021-florida-forum. They can be purchased until noon of the day before the event.
