Tractor Supply Co. to open St. Johns Bluff Road store Dec. 11

The Tennessee-based company offers products for the agrarian lifestyle.

Tractor Supply Co. said it will open its newest Jacksonville store at 8 a.m. Dec. 11 at 1767 St. Johns Bluff Road S. 

It is the second location to open in Jacksonville and the seventh in Northeast Florida.

The first is at 9025 New Kings Road, off Interstate 295.

 “At Tractor Supply, we understand the value of providing essential needs like pet food, animal feed and home supplies to our customers in the Jacksonville community,” said store Manager Stephen Randolph in a Dec. 8 news release.

“Our team members live the same lifestyle as our customers.”

Tractor Supply Co. serves consumers who live an agrarian lifestyle from full-time farming to home gardening.

The store is open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The 22,166-square-foot store and 16,764 square feet of unenclosed space for outdoor storage and display is on 3.44 acres. 

The company, based in Brentwood, Tennessee, operates more than 1,940 stores in 49 states. It was founded more than 80 years ago.

Among community groups, it supports animal shelters, 4-H Clubs and Future Farmers of America chapters, according to the release.

Tractor Supply is working on its third Jacksonville location, and eighth in the area, at 8984 Normandy Blvd., west of I-95.
