Professional Sales Executives

Beth’s comments are typical of our multimedia sales executives. If that sounds appealing to you, we’re looking for more energetic, entrepreneurial achievers who are outgoing and money-motivated.

  • If you can talk with confidence to business owners to identify their goals …
  • If you are willing to prospect and meet new people to learn about their business objectives …
  • If you have high self-esteem and confidence …
  • If your presentation skills separate you from the pack …
  • If you are not easily intimidated by business owners who may be “old school” …
  • If you are articulate and looking for the highest quality in your employer and in yourself …

… This is the place for an exciting and rewarding sales and marketing career!

We offer competitive compensation with the opportunity for six-figure earnings, full benefits and a culture that encourages innovation and entrepreneurism.

Wanted: Smart, ambitious business reporter

Here’s an anomaly: A newspaper that’s growing … and is a fun place to make a difference.

If you know anything about Florida business, you know that everything revolves around “dirt” — real estate. That’s where the money is. And you know what they say: “Follow the money.”

In this case, we’re looking for someone to follow the development. Specifically, report the news, trends, companies and entrepreneurs in homebuilding and residential real estate in Greater Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.

We have an immediate opening for a smart, ambitious business writer who thrives on breaking news and writing intelligent stories for a sophisticated, influential audience of C-suite business leaders and public policymakers.

To write for our readers, you need to think like them, and you need to know what they care about most. In fact, our in-house motto is this: “What the boss needs to know.” This means a superstar applicant will have experience in business journalism.

What’s in it for you? Opportunity. The opportunity to make a difference in Greater Jacksonville; to work with top-flight editors and writers; to grow professionally and personally; and to be rewarded when you excel. We believe in the idea of a meritocracy.

If you think you would have fun and find rewarding becoming a leading voice in one of the most important industries in Greater Jacksonville; and if you think you have the right stuff and enthusiasm, then show us. Before applying, do your homework. Visit to learn more about who we are and what we do. If you feel you can write the same kinds of stories with clarity, wit and expertise, prove it in an email that inspires me to schedule a talk.  Accompanying it should be a resume and 3-5 clips of your best work.
