The Jacksonville Transportation Authority is extending transportation options for Downtown Countdown and Gator Bowl festivities.
Beginning Sunday, Skyway service will operate from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for anyone visiting downtown. The Stadium Shuttle Service for the Jacksonville Jaguars last regular season home game begins at 10 a.m. and concludes one hour after the game. Kickoff is 1 p.m.
On Monday, Skyway service begins at 6 a.m. and will continue until 2 a.m. for people going to the Landing for New Year’s Eve festivities.
JTA bus service will be extended on five bus lines until shortly after midnight. The bus lines include the Northside 2, 5 and 7; Beaches 1; Arlington 5; Southside 6, and Westside 2, 5 and 11.
The downtown Trolley will operate free from 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m., following its regular route, even during the parade at 3 p.m.
On Tuesday, the Stadium Shuttle Service begins at 9:30 a.m. and concludes one hour after the game. The Toyota Gator Bowl kickoff is 12:30 p.m.
The Skyway will operate from 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Stadium Shuttle Service includes three downtown pick-up points: the Convention Center Skyway Station, the Water Street Garage or the Kings Avenue Parking Garage on the Southbank.
For those attending Downtown Countdown Monday night, free parking is available at lots near the Convention Center Skyway Station and the surface lot at Kings Avenue Garage.
