Orange Park Country Club, a 784-acre community, offers 2,400 to 4,000 square foot homes ranging in price from the $200,000s to more than $1 million.

The community was developed by Chester Stokes and partners in 1993 at the same time his group put together Deercreek. Taylor Woodrow is now the primary developer.

The community is designed around a 300-acre National Audubon Society Wildlife Preserve which includes oak trees, lakes , creeks and many species of birds and other wildlife.

Amenities that are offered include a Bob Walker-designed 18-hole championship golf course, driving range, putting green, lighted 10 court Har-Tru tennis center and swim club featuring both Olympic-sized and children’s pools.

The clubhouse has a pro shop, lounge, a variety of dining options and a workout room. It serves as the focal point of the community, providing a long list of athletic, cultural and social activities for every member of the family. Membership to the club is included with every new home purchase.

Even though the community is also close to shopping, churches, schools and the Orange Park Mall, it’s one of the most secluded in the area. The entrance is at the western end of Kingsley Ave. and access is through the Loch Rane development.

When you reach the OPCC area, the first view is of the golf course’s second and third holes. A few homes are on the entry road, and then the clubhouse complex. Most of the housing is then past then clubhouse with many homes on the golf course.
