Summer is more than half over and our Chapter is active and growing with new members every month. How exciting to be a part of such an outstanding organization! As president elect for 2003, Pat Smith, our President, asked me to write the article for this month. I gladly accepted and would like to share with you all the exciting events taking place and on the drawing board for the balance of this year and into 2003. The Pins are in!!! Our beautiful “Butterfly” pins have arrived and can be purchased from Jane Miller. The proceeds from the sale of the pins will go to Jasmines Way. We encourage all our fellow REALTORS to purchase a pin and help support Jasmines Way. The purchase price is $15 and Jane can be contacted at 669-4374. Our supply is limited, call Jane now to reserve your pin. Our third annual “High Tea” will be held on Nov. 20th this year. The Art Association located on Marine Street will continue to be the location of choice. If you haven’t attended the last two don’t miss out on this one! Mark your calendars now. The Ways and Means Committee is hard at work planning our next Wine Tasting. The first one was such a success we decided to do it again. More on this at a later date. Elke McMenemy, Chairperson for the Nominating Committee, is on the lookout for future officers for our Chapter. Our next Chapter meeting will be Sept. 9th, we meet at the Fairway Grill on US 1 North and our meetings start at 11:30am. Hope to see you there!!
