The television series that showcases new homes and communities produced in cooperation with the Northeast Florida Builders Association has expanded its format and is now seen weekly at 4 p.m. on Sundays on
Ch. 4.
“New Homes and Design Showcase” premiered in January as Builders TV Showcase but the name was changed to reflect a sponsor: Design, a magazine published by Jacksonville magazine, which makes a contribution to the show.
“We are very excited about our partnerships with WJXT, Jacksonville magazine and the Northeast Florida Builders Association,” said Jeff Rabin, the show’s producer.
“This is a very professionally done series, that can capture what we offer in new homes and in communities around the area,” said NEFBA President Denise Wallace. “They have now added a great element that focuses on design each week.”
The show is hosted by former Ch. 17 news anchor Terry Casey and NEFBA board member Diane Leone.
Rabin’s background stretches back to his days in South Florida.
“I’ve operated an advertising and public relations firm for 17 years in Fort Lauderdale. I produced a real estate show in Miami on NBC prior to moving to Ponte Vedra in 1994,” said Rabin.
In addition to the real estate show in Miami, Rabin produced a weekly show on the ABC affiliate in West Palm, called “Healthweek.” He’s also produced over 50 corporate videos, three infomercials and hundreds of TV commercials.
“My favorite one was the commercial I shot with quarterback Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers in 1997 for Orthodontic Centers of America,” said Rabin.
