HOW DID YOU GET INTO LENDING?
“I started in real estate and sort of progressed over to the finance side about 20 years ago while I was living in California.”
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT LENDING?
“To custom design loan programs for customers. It is very gratifying to help someone who didn’t think they could get a loan, to get a home. I like helping my loan officers achieve their maximum potential as loan originators.”
BEFORE CURRENT COMPANY?
She was a account executive with Ivanhoe Financial for four years.
WHERE IS YOUR COMPANY LOCATED?
St. Augustine. They have 12 branches around the Northeast Florida area.

There are six loan officers and eight people on the operations side including processors, underwriters and managers. Loan officers in the Jacksonville market are Bob Gallagher, Ken Williams, and Karen Jackson.The three in St. Augustine are Gay Bonner, Janine Rinderknecht and Barbara Jones.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE LENDING OF PROSPERITY BANK?
“We do mostly conforming and a lot of construction and construction permanent loans. We also offer loans and builder’s lines of credit.”
HOW DO YOU PROMOTE YOUR COMPANY?
“Through market presence, word of mouth and customer referral base. We find that from every closing, we get about four to five referrals at a minimum.”
