KB Home won top honors Saturday night as the local builders’ association presented its annual Laurel Awards.
Ron Coppenbarger of Coppenbarger Homes won the Dick Baker Award for service in the industry.
A total of 55 awards were given in an Academy Awards-style ceremony at the T-U Center and KB Home, a national builder, won the Grand Award and the Golden Service Award.
The awards were presented by the Sales and Marketing Council, a division of the Northeast Florida Builders Association.
The Developer of the Year award went to Walter O’Shea of Hines Development, who has the Palencia community north of St. Augustine.
The Realtor of the Year award went to Judy Hicks of Re/Max Real Estate Specialists.
In the mortgage category, Laura Smith of Countrywide Home Loans was the Lender of the Year for non-builder companies and KB Home won in the builder category.

Sales and Marketing Council Builder Member of the Year: Linda Mathis, North Florida Homes.
Sales and Marketing Council Associate Member of the Year: Jim DelVecchio, HomeSouth Mortgage.
Sales Manager of the Year: Naomi Lumley, Palencia.
Marketing Director of the Year: Daniel Blanchard, KB Home.
Site Agent of the Year: Jamie Maxwell Bloedow, Mercedes Homes.
Top Producer (Builder Partnership) and Site Agent of the Year: Pud English, Nita Roberts and Charlene Cunard, Palencia.
Top Producer (Realtor): Terry Sadowski, Arvida.
Top Producer (Builder): Jeannie McCafferty, Pulte Homes.
Top Producer (Builder Lender): Lisa Hand, KB Home.
Rookie Salesperson of the Year: Robin Challberg, Morrison Homes.
There also were architectural awards with the $1 million-plus honor going to North Florida Builders. ICI Homes won in three price ranges.
Sisler-Williams Interior Design dominated the design categories, winning seven awards.
