Our theme this year is Together We Can Make a Difference. Where it All Comes Together! The best year yet has just begun. Now lets get ready to roll. Since our Chapter is celebrating its 45th Anniversary it is our goal to have 45 new member this year. We are off to a great start and we will continue to count down till we reach our goal. By the way our dues are just $121.00 this year. As an incentive for those who recruit five (5) new members our state chapter will provide a chance to win a cruise to Key West and Cozumel for 5 days and 4 nights onboard Carnival’s Imagination and featuring two 3 hour sessions to fine tune your business with Danielle Kennedy. By the way you can always go on your own and we have information available for those interested in not leaving this opportunity to chance. If you have not made reservations for Chicago now is the time. You should have already received our new WCR magazine “Connections” and in it you will find the registration to the Chicago Conference as well as great articles on e-mailing and technology tips. I love the new look!
In addition I would love to see our chapter have its own bus for Legislative Day to show our numbers and lead the way for our local board. It would be great to also shoot for a bus load to attend the Regional Conference in Savannah. This is a very close to home meeting that we could all participate in and it is at a wonderful location. This would be a great opportunity to network and really get a feel for
what WCR is all about. I’d like to also remind our members that our After Hours Get Togethers are not only for us to network with each other but to also gain new contacts and I have asked that Cindy Bethel consider not only the different areas of town but also try to link with a Multi-Cultural Group that meets on a regular basis to expand our sphere of influence and hopefully generate some new leads while learning about other cultures.
