The Springfield Restoration Group welcomed over 200 guests to “Experience Downtown” and their two new period-style homes that sit side by side on West Third Street overlooking Klutho Park in historic Springfield.

“Springfield is a thriving neighborhood with beautiful homes, talented artists and creative chefs,” said Ed Mitchell, SRG. “There are so many hidden jewels in this wonderful city, including historic Springfield. We were delighted to give our guests the opportunity to see our homes and experience downtown like never before.”

Both SRG homes, which feature the Saxelbye design, were transformed into contemporary art galleries highlighting the work of some of the area’s most talented up and coming artists, Ali Fuderer, Katherine Metz and Ron Reyes.

The homes feature craftsman-style architecture with three-quarter inch tongue and groove hardwood floors, 10-foot ceilings, recessed lighting, built-in bookcases, custom trim, extensive crown moulding, granite countertops, Pegasus faucets, and stainless steel European appliances.

The homes have a large porch upstairs off of the master bedroom, a deck off the rear of the home, real wood windows and a 25-year architectural shingle roof. A detached garage with storage or a garage apartment is also available. The Saxelbye homes overlooking Klutho Park are priced in the high $300s, including lot.
