Classic American Homes, a Lennar company, has opened of its 2,019-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom model home, The Creekside, in Heritage Landing at World Golf Village.

With eight new floor plans each with several elevations designed especially for the community, Classic American is offering homebuyers flexible, custom-quality home designs on their wide range of spacious 60-foot wooded, cul-de-sac, and preserve lots.

Starting in the $200s, Classic American’s homes within Heritage Landing will range between 1,614 and 2,700 square feet, and many of the designs will feature bonus rooms, large family rooms, covered lanais, and formal living and dining rooms. Each home will have landscaping package that offers beautiful shrubbery and the choice of live oak, East Palatka Holly, or Crape Myrtle trees.

The interior design work is by Janet D. Petersen Designs.

Visitors are greeted in the foyer with ceramic tile with tumbled marble accents. Roasted red pepper colored paint and crown molding accents give the ceiling insets in the formal dining room a twist. The formal living room has been converted into a study, complete with an desk set, window treatments, and dragonfly themed wallpaper that demonstrate the room’s spaciousness.

The family room has a fresh and light tone, accented by wheat colored walls and furniture. Splashes of blue paint immediately draw the eye to the family room’s fireplace wall with insets located on both sides.

The Creekside’s flex room maintains the community’s casual, summery feel with a canoe-shaped center table and fish-themed drapery and upholstery. The hall bathroom features a bathtub, laminate countertops, white beadboard, fish-themed wallpaper, and a tile wall with a decorative border accent.

French doors in the tiled breakfast area lead out to the optional extended patio, which provides views of the Heritage Landing neighborhood. The kitchen features solid-surface Corian countertops with an integrated dual sink, Whirlpool appliances, maple upgraded cabinetry, and a brick-patterned tile backsplash that provide the family chef with workspace.

Using the red, white, and blue tones found throughout the house, the children’s bedroom has been decorated with wooden toys and metallic star-shaped wall decorations to give it an Americana look reminiscent of the community’s amenities center, Camp Heritage. The guest suite features Classic American Homes’ optional pool bath, which includes a glass-enclosed shower with tumbled marble accents.

Cherry wood furniture including a four-poster bed with tester and rich chenille fabrics help create the atmosphere in the master bedroom, which also features a step ceiling. The master bath features rich damask wallpaper and an upgraded tile package with decorative listellos.

Heritage Landing lies near the intersection of SR13 and SR16.

The neighborhood of 1,160 homesites is designed to give the feeling of living in a summer camp like setting. Camp Heritage, the community’s amenities center, has been designed to capture that feeling.

Homeowners will be able to enjoy the open-air picnic pavilion and “campground” favorites like horseshoes, shuffleboard, tennis (even at night), and boccie. The fun pool features a spiraling waterslide tower that has been designed to resemble a forest ranger’s lookout post. Across from the fun pool is a heated, 6-lane Junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, complete with decks and pavilions to provide a shaded, luxurious resting place.

The community also has a sandlot baseball field, miniature bleachers, timber post dugouts, and a replica of an antique scoreboard.

Classic American Homes currently is building in Pablo Bay, Heritage Landing at World Golf Village, Panther Creek, and Bonaparte Crossing. They will begin building in Cherokee Cove, Murabella and Kensington later this year.
