A large lot has been cleared behind The Carlington loft apartments on West Adams Street where a new 250-space parking garage will be built. Construction should begin within 30 days. Largely on schedule, project managers said Carlington construction should be finished by early 2005, creating 100 loft apartments and 15,000 square feet of retail space.
