Coppenbarger Homes continues in its tradition of award-winning new home building, earning a number of top honors at this year’s prestigious Laurel Awards ceremony. The Laurel Awards are presented by the Northeast Florida Builder Association’s Sales & Marketing Council. In addition to recognition for excellence in design and architecture, Coppenbarger also received honors for excellence in sales and client service, with two of its top agents being inducted into the Laurel Million-Dollar Circle.

For excellence in design and interior merchandising, Laurel judges were wowed by one entry in particular-the stunning “Country Manor Estate” in Jacksonville’s Deerwood Estates. This glamorous, custom Coppenbarger home was designed to provide a stylish and luxurious backdrop for a family with an active and dynamic lifestyle. The home’s architectural design offers various arches, columns, balustrades, and fountains. It features an outdoor entertainment pavilion with a two-way stone fireplace and a waterfall pool. Each room of this stunning home makes its own statement, and the design and merchandising of the home enhance this statement with lighting, toned ceilings and trim details. Shades of mocha, crème, moss greens and terra reds play together in tapestries, silks, real family accessories, furniture and art. Total square footage of this elegant custom home is 6,814.

The Country Manor Estate won the award for Best Architectural Design and Best Interior Merchandising for a home over $1,000,000. It also earned top honors for Best Landscaping for a Single Family Home. Renowned interior designer Rita Williams partnered with Coppenbarger to complete interior merchandising in the home, and all landscaping design was created by Warren Powers.

In addition to its awards for the Country Manor Estate, Coppenbarger’s new model home in the Dames Point community North Creek was recognized with the award for Best Architectural Design for a home $200,000 and under. The model, a Fairway II with bonus room, features four bedrooms and four baths in 2,800 square feet of living space. The home is accented with a front porch and unique stone front. The model is nothing short of a fabulous American family dream home. The design of the home and its dramatic, dynamic floor plan will accommodate a variety of activities for people of all ages and lifestyles. One of the model’s most appealing features is its separate “grandparent retreat.” This area includes a full bedroom and bath and is removed enough from the main living space to provide privacy and space.

Coppenbarger’s list of awards was not limited to design and merchandising. The company was also lauded for its tremendous production capabilities, with two agents in particular singled out for recognition. Claudine Darling, site agent for the prestigious beaches condominium community Meditierra, and Ray Kelso, Coppenbarger site agent for Amelia View, were both inducted into the prestigious Million-Dollar Circle for earning sales production figures in excess of $10 million.

Darling and Kelso were formally recognized at the annual Laurel Award ceremony held on April 2.
