Browdy & Browdy Inc., a custom residential construction and real estate development company, has started a multifamily residential project in Jacksonville’s San Marco area. Lakeside Villas of San Marco will be four dwellings in two buildings and was created in cooperation with the San Marco Preservation Society to create a design consistent with the neighborhood.
Browdy & Browdy, a member of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, engaged the site planning and architectural firm The Evans Group of Orlando to design a multifamily project that complies with the recently enacted San Marco Overlay. The site is at the corner of Largo Road and San Marco Boulevard with boat access to the St. Johns River.
The exteriors will be textured stucco with Spanish tile roofs. Each two-story waterfront residence will have more than 3,500 square feet of air-conditioned space, plus front and rear porches and a two-car attached garage.
Site demolition has been completed with construction of the new development scheduled to begin soon.
