Women’s Council of Realtors heard advice on getting more business from Patsy Woody, national WCR governor and a Realtor with Florida Professional Realty & Investments, Inc. in Orlando. She spoke last month at the WCR luncheon at the San Jose Country Club.

Woody told the Realtors that a way to increase their business is to focus on their sphere of influence, share their vision and get other people to market for them.

She explained how important it is to have a business plan for your business. Her most recent builder plan included adding custom builders to her marketing When she did well with that, she moved on to production builders and was even more successful.

“Builders may not be your interest,” said Woody. “What is? Is it golf, civic organizations or your church? What is your sphere of influence? The Bible says you have not because you ask not. Determine what your sphere of influence is and share your vision.”

As most leaders do, Woody also encouraged more involvement from the members.

“I would also encourage you to get involved in the WCR on a state and national level,” said Woody. “I would also encourage you to become an officer in your chapter. You can run a WCR chapter and still be a top producer.”
