Brenda and Mike Johns of Jacksonville are the owners of the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS from George Moore Chevrolet awarded during Beazer Homes’ Summertime Car Giveaway Contest.
“We are so thankful to Beazer Homes and George Moore Chevrolet for this wonderful surprise,” Mrs. Johns said. The couple registered for the contest during a visit to Beazer Homes’ courtyard homes at Stonefield at Bartram Park.
“After our tour of the home, New Home Counselor Lynn Chapman signed us up and I told my husband, ‘I’m going to win that car,’ “ she said. “I was shocked when we actually won. We’ve never won anything like this before.”
The Johns were selected from more than 1,000 names registered at Beazer Homes New Homes Information Centers at seven communities throughout Clay, Duval and St. Johns counties. They were announced as the winners of the 2004 SUV during a recent celebration event held at Beazer Homes’ corporate office where nearly 200 guests were in attendance.
During the event, guests enjoyed catering by Johnny Carino’s Country Italian Restaurant and prizes and giveaways from Cox Radio.
“This contest was a huge success,” said Sales and Marketing Manager Tom Daddario. “With more than 1,000 people registering at our communities throughout Northeast Florida, this gave us an opportunity to reintroduce Beazer Homes to buyers on the First Coast and show them all that we have to offer.”
