Ryland Homes sold 315 new homes from January through June 30 in nine communities and 16 neighborhoods in the Jacksonville region, according to a report from the company.
Jeff Agar, president of Ryland Homes in Jacksonville, said Ryland is expected sell a record 600 homes this year. Last year, his division reported 377 sales over 12 months. The average sale price of a Ryland-built home during the first half of 2005 was $250,000.
In other Ryland Homes news, the builder has opened a new phase with 71 home sites — including some that are waterfront — at Bartram Springs, a community located off Race Track Road and US-1 in south Duval County.
