Davidson Realty, Inc. ended 2004 with more than $209 million in residential real estate sales in The Neighborhoods of World Golf Village and northern St. Johns County - a company record.
This figure only includes sales activity for Davidson Realty and does not reflect overall sales at World Golf Village including Laterra at World Golf Village, The Legends at St. Johns, The Meadows, Heritage Landing and The Residences at World Golf Village.
“We had a remarkable 2003 and then came out in 2004 and more than doubled our sales. It was a truly incredible year,” said Sherry Davidson, president of Davidson Realty. “There currently are 371 single-family homes and condominium units under construction at World Golf Village.”
With 1,439 homes completed, The Neighborhoods at World Golf Village welcomed its 1000th family last year. Also in 2004, Davidson announced the sellout of three neighborhoods at the King & Bear: LakeWood, Bearsford and Kingsbury.
Levitt and Sons recently announced development plans for The Cascades at World Golf Village, a gated, active-adult community of 450 single-family homes. Development is also underway on Isles of the World, which will feature 150 lakefront townhomes priced from the low $300s, located on the Slammer& Squire golf course.
Troy Homes announced the start of TuscanWood, the only courtyard community located within the King & Bear. Situated just beyond The Estate of World Golf Village, the neighborhood will feature 30 Mediterranean-inspired homes priced from the high $300s to the $500s.
Last year, American Homebuilders, Inc. and Cordele Builders, Inc. purchased all 59 homesites in WildWood, a new neighborhood beyond The Estates of World Golf Village within the gates of the King & Bear.
There are 84 homes under construction in the King & Bear, including 43 homes in Waterbury East, Waterbury West, OakWood, Bearsford and LakeWood. Laterra at World Golf Village - home of the PGA tour Spa - also has 41 resort condominium units under construction at the King & Bear.
In the neighborhoods surrounding the Slammer & Squire, there are currently 147 homes under construction, including 46 homes in the St. Andrews Place, Royal Pines and Turnberry neighborhoods, 84 condominium units in the second phase of The Legends at St. Johns and six condominium units in The Residences at World Golf Village. Another 11 units are under construction in Glenmoor, World Golf Village’s life care community.
