Council members get committee assignments

When the City Council reconvenes in mid-July, big changes will be in store. Aside from welcoming Kevin Hyde as president and Michael Corrigan as vice president, the Council’s committee structure will be revamped, as will each Council member’s committee assignments.

Listed below are the makeup and meeting times of the six standing committee’s. The Military Affairs Committee is expected to meet on a quarterly or as needed basis.

In addition, special committees devoted to the courthouse and growth management will remain in tact. Art Graham will chair the former, Sharon Copeland the latter.

Finance Committee
