Having all the right ingredients and a cohesive team working together are key to the successful construction of any new home. Beazer Homes recently took those same principles and mixed things up to give its sales team a day of fun and teambuilding as it participated in a cooking class that gave “curb appeal” a whole new meaning.

Beazer Homes’ team of 20 new home counselors was chauffeured to San Marco, near downtown Jacksonville, for a special cooking class at In the Kitchen. Donning official Beazer Homes chef’s hats and aprons, the team was divided into groups and challenged to prepare a gourmet lunch together under the direction of a chef from In the Kitchen. Using cooperation, imagination and teamwork, the groups completed their meals and enjoyed the fruits of their labor.

To conclude their cooking experience, the groups were given one final, but sweet, task. Each group was offered several dessert ingredients to use in the construction of a tasty dessert that was judged for categories such as best “curb appeal,” best “floor plan” and “design.”

“Beazer Homes is fortunate to have such a dedicated, hard-working and creative sales team that consistently produces outstanding results for us,” Vice President Tom Daddario said. “This activity was a fun way for us to show our appreciation to the team that helps to make all our communities so successful.”

At the end of the day, each member of the sales team received an array of culinary goodies.
