It was a full house at the Amelia Island/Nassau County Board of Realtor meeting lat month. The association has grown to about 345 members and packed those that attended in tightly to hear about the updated tax roll and mapping system offered by Metro Market Trends, Inc.

Al Muller of MMT Inc. talked to the group about the benefits of using their company to find out as much about property in the area as possible.

“We now have a totally new system,” said Muller. “Now, we’ve gone to a totally new system where the maps are digitized and there are a lot of new features. Before you could go map by map, now your entire county is one map. You can move anywhere on the map, zoom in and zoom out.

“Every time you touch a parcel, it tells you the ownership information. You can find any parcel, click on it and request that it give you homeowner within a quarter mile or lot owners within a half a mile or any other criteria that you choose. You can then ask it to print a set of labels and it will have the owners current within 60 days.”

After the meeting, MMT, Inc. held a training session on the new system.
