LandMar Group hosted a successful grand opening for North Hampton’s Peninsula Estates neighborhood. The weekend’s events - held in three newly built model homes by ICI Homes, Arthur Rutenberg Homes and Watson Custom Home Builders - attracted guests with an offering of fare prepared by three of Fernandina Beach’s restaurants.

The premier showing of the Peninsula Estates model homes raised $4,500 for the Monique Burr Foundation for Children and the Boys & Girls Club of Nassau County Foundation.

“We were able to accomplish so much during the grand opening of Peninsula Estates,” said Jim Doyle, vice president of marketing for LandMar. “Prospective homebuyers were able to experience North Hampton’s style of luxury living firsthand in these wonderful new models, and they also helped to generate funds and heighten awareness for two very worthy area charities.”

LandMar kicked off the opening with a VIP fundraising event called “A Taste of Fine Living.”

The showing of the Peninsula Estates model homes had live entertainment and food donated by The Beech Street Grill, PLAE and the Golf Club at North Hampton. With a restaurant in each Peninsula Estates model home, guests sampled gourmet food such as ahi tuna tartare, lollipop lambchops, brushetta of duck confit and sambal seared tiger prawns.

Guests also had the opportunity to meet with the restaurants’ executive chefs.

Attendees toured the models, all on the same street in Peninsula Estates. All proceeds from the fundraiser benefited the Boys & Girls Club of Nassau County Foundation and the Monique Burr Foundation for Children.

The model homes officially opened to the public during the w eekend following the event.

The 3,273-square-foot Portofino IV by Arthur Rutenberg Homes features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a bonus room and den. The stucco and shingled roof home also includes a three-car garage and extended lanai with a pool and outdoor kitchen.

Watson Custom Homes’ Bridgeport model is 4,169 square feet and includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms as well as a covered lanai with summer kitchen, large island kitchen and grand two-story living room. The master suite showcases a large walk-in closet and a master bathroom with generous garden bath.

ICI Homes of Jacksonville is showing its Prestwick II design which includes four bedrooms and four bathrooms with a loft, study, covered lanai and a three-car garage. The 4,435-square-foot home has upgraded cabinets in the kitchen and baths.

The homes are located in the neighborhood of Peninsula Estates - close to North Hampton’s 18-hole golf course and the community’s marsh areas near the newly opened Lofton Creek Outpost and Reflection Park. Homes in Peninsula Estates are on a private cul-de-sac surrounded by four lakes and the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th holes.

Purchase of a new property at North Hampton includes a full golf membership to Hampton Golf Clubs with reciprocal privileges at 16 clubs throughout Florida and the United States.
