Morrison says Sales stay high

Morrison Homes’ Northeast Florida division has released its third quarter results for 2005, showing gains over the same period last year. The company reported $104 million in sales, a 29 percent increase over this time last year and an increase of 24 percent in the number of units closed for the quarter.

“This has been a tremendous year for our Northeast Florida division,” said Division President Douglas Guy. “Our success is a credit to the outstanding team of professionals we have at Morrison Homes. I am proud of our team and feel encouraged by what is on the horizon for Morrison Homes in the Northeast Florida market.”

Morrison Homes has seen brisk sales in all of its communities throughout Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties. The homebuilder has plans to enter three new communities; Nichols Creek, River Glen, and Segovia at the World Commerce Center, where Morrison Homes plans to build luxury townhomes. Morrison Homes also has plans to build a new townhome neighborhood in OakLeaf Plantation.

Morrison Homes is currently building luxury single-family homes in Amelia National Golf & Country Club, Bartram Springs, Fall Creek and Litchfield at OakLeaf Plantation, Eagle Harbor, North Hampton, St. Johns Golf & Country Club, St. Johns Forest, and townhomes in Briar Oaks at OakLeaf Plantation.

The company operates in 12 geographic regions across the nation including Atlanta, Georgia; Denver, Colorado; Austin, Dallas and Houston, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and Sarasota, Florida; and Sacramento and Central Valley, California.
