Mercedes Homes landed a lot of national publicity on April 2 when ABC-TV featured the company’s work on “Extreme Makeover Home Edition” of the construction of a new home for an Orlando family.
Many Mercedes workers from the Jacksonville area participated in the effort, which included demolition of an old house and construction of a new home for a single mother and her five children.
