JEA workers installed a transformer this week on the site of Berkman Plaza II, the planned 23-story, 222-unit tower on the Northbank, which is scheduled to be complete by late 2008. The transformer will provide power for construction workers on the site. Three more transformers will be also added to provide power for the tower, and a temporary crane is in the finishing stages. It will provide workers a platform for pouring the first levels of concrete on the structure.
