Womenade, an organization of professional women, continues on its mission to help daniel Memorial, an agency aiding children.
The group had its regular meeting at Naomi Lumley’s home — her fourth time being hostess since Womenade started in 2002. More than 40 women showed up for fellowship and a gourmet meal by Chef Cheryl.
Each pays $30 for the event and the money is donated to daniel. Membership opportunities are also available. Three new members were welcomed at the meeting.
Also during the meeting, the new Womenade Web site, designed by Heather Weaver of Construction Hawk, was announced. Womenade is working on the redesign of 12 apartments for daniel and putting on a bachelor auction and photos of the bachelors and further details will be on the new Web site July 1.
