Mercedes Homes has announced the third and final phase of SeaGrove, the home builder’s single-family community on Anastasia Island. In conjunction with the final phase, the public was invited to a grand opening at the SeaGrove model center.
At the grand opening event, new home sales consultants were available to answer questions about the 36 additional homes available in SeaGrove, priced from the high-$500s.
The homes offered at SeaGrove range in size from 1,568- to 2,240-square-feet of living space and include up to four bedrooms. Inspired by Key West-style beach houses, SeaGrove’s one and two-story plans feature covered front and rear porches, metal accent roofs, rotundas and spacious kitchens. Six floor plans are available in the community.
“SeaGrove offers a unique opportunity for new home buyers,” said Dennis Ginder, division president for Mercedes Homes in Jacksonville. “The cottage-style homes compliment the natural, pristine setting on Anastasia Island.”
In addition to the beach-style homes, the community is filled with live oaks and grassy marshes, which provide a scenic backdrop for many home sites. The neighborhood also has a resort-style cabana club complete with swimming pool.
SeaGrove is located on Anastasia Island, just south of the downtown historic district of St. Augustine. Area golf courses, beaches, parks, shopping, restaurants and entertainment are just a short drive, bike or boat ride or walk away.
“Home owners at SeaGrove are close to shopping conveniences, the beach and schools, but when they head home, their find their community is a retreat from the commotion of the city,” said Ginder.
