Show a home. Get a card. Make a hand. Win two grand. It’s that simple.
Members of the marketing team at LandMar really like poker. So much so that they made a realtor event around the game —The LandMar Realtor Elite Champions of Poker.
The company’s first quarterly event of 2006 was at the Harbortown Community on the Intracoastal Waterway. More than 100 Realtors came out for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, music and boat tours — and they got a sneak-peek at LandMar’s newest condominium community at Harbortown.
The community is still in its initial stage, but representatives said the external view would offer a “Spanish, Flagler College type of look” and an amenities center that “takes advantage of the Intracoastal Waterway.”
LandMar agents said the event held on the future site of the seven-story master planned condominium complex was a tease, but solid announcements are very close.
LandMar’s next realtor event will be at North Hampton. It’s a preview party for Ch. 47’s Dream Home valued at $1.8 million and realtors will have a chance to pick up playing cards with a chance to win the pot.
Kelly Scott of Vanguard Realty won $2,000 during LandMar’s Spring event in a raffle drawing at Harbortown. But there’s still more than $3,000 up for grabs from the company.
LandMar’s promotion works like this: Take a client to see any LandMar community this year. Any client you register will earn you a playing card. Each sale will earn you a wild card. The Elite Realtor events will be held every four months and culminate with an Elite Champions of Poker Year-End Tournament in November. For each completed visitor registration that a realtor makes, LandMar will mail one poker card voucher entitling the realtor to draw one card from the house deck at each quarterly tournament. For every sale a realtor makes, LandMar will mail a wild card voucher — good for making the best possible poker hand. All realtors receive one poker card just for attending a tournament.
The year-end tournament winner will receive a cash prize of at least $3,000. First place winners will be awarded cash prizes of at least $1,000.
