“The amount of participants is always a plus. My favorite booth was the Suddath Relocation. It was so creative and I know a lot of time and passion was put into putting it together. My favorite marketing item given away was the Drees Homes ‘forget me not’ maple tree. I thought the location was wonderful I couldn’t think of a better place.”

-Michelle Udler, Leasing Jacksonville

“The food was great. No one booth stood out, but I enjoyed the candy giveaways. The venue was tight on space. It felt crowded with too many dead ends. I would have liked to have seen more information specific to their product or service.”

—Jeff Kern , Embassy Mortgage and Real Estate

“This show gets better every year. We combined Palencia with our new downtown condo development, The St John. Our booth was a team building event. Everyone pitched in. Some of us taped, glued, stapled or shopped. Nita Roberts is our designer creator. We built the booth in our office much to the dismay of our boss. Because it was so large we had to wait until we got to Alltel to put it together. Thanks to Jerry Linder and several men, the second story of our booth was lifted into place without a hitch.

Yes, we all held our breath. Then the jokes began with....did we have a building permit and proper inspections? Congratulations to everyone who organized this event. It was so well planned. And fun! And Builders Care got our $500 winning check.”

—Naomi Lumley, Hines team at Palencia and The St. John
