• The details are still being worked out, but a spokesperson at the Sports and Entertainment division of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission said that Florida and Florida State will play a baseball game at the Baseball Grounds next year. Expect a formal announcement soon.
• If you have noticed crews pulling cable out of the ground all over Downtown this week, it’s because the City is installing 8,000 feet of fiber optic communications cable underground from the Yates Building to the Fire Administration Building to the Ed Ball Building and back to the Florida Theatre Building.
