The Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association held its opening reception Sept. 6 at Deep Blue at the Landing. Local law students signed up for a mentor-matching program and members got a chance to mingle before the program year begins. A specific schedule of events is still being worked out, but JWLA’s political candidate forum is slated for Oct. 11.
