A joint effort to curb job site theft has been started in an alliance between the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, NEFBA and First Coast Crimestoppers, with the hope that the anonymous tip through Crimestoppers will help with information leading to the arrests of criminals. The reporting of serial numbers on stolen goods to police will also help the cause of the alliance. Among the officers at the NEFBA meeting were Sgt. Don Wilfong, Sheriff John Rutherford, Assistant Chief Rutledge, Sgt. Brian Kee and Sgt. Larry Kitchen.
