The Prudential Network Realty office is at 1000 Sawgrass Village Drive, suite 101. The broker is Amanda Dandy, who has been the manager of the office since it moved to its current location in 1994. She has been with Prudential for 19 years.

“We have 60 agents in our office,” said Dandy. “Approximately a third of our office is on one of our three different relocation teams which include the leads team, broker-to-broker referrals and corporate referral teams.”

The office predominantly works with re-sales but act as buyer’s agents for people buying new construction.

“Our office opened shortly after Prudential opened in Jacksonville in 1988,” said Dandy. “Linda Sherrer and partners bought out the original brokers who owned Balomar. We started out in the Winn-Dixie shopping area in Ponte Vedra Beach. When we outgrew that office we opened up in Sawgrass Village in 1994. I started out with Balomar in 1987, stayed with Prudential at the buy-out and have been with Prudential ever since.”

Dandy said they have a niche that is helping them in the current market.

“Offering buyer’s agency to our customers remains a big pull and we are one of the few companies in Jacksonville offering it,” she said. “Many relocation companies insist on their transferees working with agents who can act as buyer’s agents.”

Prudential Real Estate Affiliates has an exclusive affiliation with the Internet search engine Yahoo that has also helped them with the marketing of their inventory.

“Our sellers love being able to see first hand the Web site hits their home is receiving,” said Dandy. “Just as builders are offering incentives for their new homes, agents and sellers are coming up with all kinds of incentives for buyers and agents for resales. We have one listing at this time that is offering a $25,000 bonus in addition to the regular commission for an acceptable offer.”
