The Davidson Companies - Davidson Realty, Inc. and Davidson Development, Inc. - honored its top employees at its annual banquet last month at Epping Forest Yacht Club. Barbara Rogove was named full-time Employee of the Year and Jeannie Sockwell was honored as part-time Employee of the Year.
Service awards went to J.R. Burkes for 20 years of service, Rick Horton for 14 years, Cindy Vaughn for eight years and LizAnne Rung for five years.
Other employee awards included Sharon King, Best Problem Solver honors; Rung, Peacemaker award; and Karen Palmer, the Inspires Others to Higher Achievement award.
Rogove, a listing coordinator, joined the Davidson Companies in February 2005 as a personal assistant and her current role includes handling all real estate listings for the company’s agents, including entering information in the Multiple Listing Service, developing flyers and updating prices.
The mother of four was rewarded with a $1,500 travel voucher and five days paid vacation and she is planning a trip to Vegas to celebrate. Rogove was also honored with the Most Willing to Help and Best Team Player awards.
“Barbara celebrates everyone’s success. She blows horns and whistles when an agent brings her a new listing or when they make a sale,” said Sherry Davidson, president of Davidson Realty and vice president of Davidson Development. “She is always willing to help whenever and wherever she is needed..”
Sockwell, a part-time receptionist, has been with the company since December 2004. The former ballet and ballroom dancing instructor also received the company ‘s Most Dependable and Funniest awards.
She plans to use her $1,000 travel voucher and four days paid vacation to celebrate her 15th wedding anniversary in March with a cruise from Jacksonville to Key West and Nassau.
