• The Legends of Real Estate, headed by twin sisters Selby Kaiser and Linda McMorrow, recently ended their first year in business and it was a good year. They are reporting the closing of over $21 million in transactions.

• There’s a new restaurant/wine bar coming to the Wyndham. Tastings, A Wine Experience will be near the Hendricks Avenue entrance to the hotel.

• Speaking of Hendricks, the widening and repaving looks like it’s almost complete. Only a couple of intersections seem to still need work.

• Former Times-Union beat writer and current cbssportsline.com columnist Pete Prisco has released his first mock draft. He says the Jaguars will take Florida Gators defensive lineman Jarvis Moss with the 17th pick in the first round.

• The University of North Florida kicked off its Senior Annual Thursday. The art display featuring work by graduating Art and Design majors is at the University Gallery and runs through March 16.

• Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and Newsweek essayist George Will will be in town March 13 for the UNF Foundation Presidential Lecture Series. It’s at 6 p.m. at the UNF Fine Arts Center, Lazzara Performance Hall.

• The Twisted Martini has inked a lease to open another location at “The Verandas” in Ponte Vedra Beach. The center is also home to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Medure’s restaurant. The design will be similar to the original Twisted Martini Downtown. Construction has begun and a grand opening is planned for some time in April.

• Let them know what you think: The Jacksonville Public Library has launched an on-line customer survey. It can be accessed from any computer including library locations. There are two versions of the survey, a short version that takes about five minutes and a more in-depth survey. Communications Manager Stacie Bucher said it will be a perpetual survey in order for library administrators to gather statistics and comments on a continual basis.
