Drees Homes and local public broadcasting station WJCT have partnered for the fourth time in seven years on the “Auction House” project, a home built by Drees and donated to the public television station for auction. This year, the home is on the Northside near Florida Community College at Jacksonville’s North Campus. Once completed in June, the home will be auctioned off during the 43rd Annual Great WJCT Television Auction with 100 percent of the proceeds — minus the construction costs — going to WJCT. Pictured breaking ground on the home are Linda Moore, Geri Cirillo, Jon Roberts, Mark Paulsen, Michael Boylan and Chris Wiley. The progress of the house can be followed by logging on to WJCT’s or Drees’ Web site and watching the Web cam installed at the construction site.
