Attorneys will now find it easier than ever to track their Continuing Legal Education requirements and credits.

CLE records now available on the Florida Bar’s Web site will eliminate the often outdated CLE information currently sent to the state’s 80,000-plus lawyers.

“Every member can now access their CLE records and post approved courses through the online system,” said Mike Tartaglia, director of the Bar’s Programs Division. “The information on the label is often obsolete before it reaches our members. An up-to-date record is available at www.floridabar.org for everyone who has password access.”

The decision to remove the often dated information also coincides with a movement to display current membership status on the Bar’s online member directory.

“Members will need to verify CLE compliance and report any deficient hours by the end date of their report month or appear as not eligible to practice in Florida,” said Tartaglia. “We hope all our members will discover the ease of updating their CLE records online.”
