Part of Friday’s Players Championship Downtown Experience includes free shuttle transportation from several Downtown locations on both sides of the river to the tournament and back Downtown for several hours of festivities.
The free transportation is provided by the Jacksonville & the Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau. The charts above show every pick up time and location and every drop off time and location for those who work Downtown and have plans to attend Friday’s round. Even if you don’t work Downtown, you can still catch the shuttles. The shuttle ride will include a video that shows golf fans what to expect at this year’s Players Championship, rules about what can and can’t be taken into the tournament and footage from past tournaments.
The pick ups start at noon at various Downtown hotels and the Landing and continue through 2:40 p.m. Return trips start at 4 p.m. and continue through 8 p.m.
Once back Downtown, golf fans can take part in The Players Downtown Experience at the Landing which includes a 9-hole putting challenge, an inflatable driving range, Golden Tee video games, live entertainment, drink specials, food and more.
