Selby Kaiser and Linda McMorrow have been active members of NEFBA and SMC since SMC started in Jacksonville. They were the recipients of the Realtor of the Year-Partnership Team Laurel at the 2006 awards. Each with over 25 years of experience in the real estate business, they have developed expertise in the sale and marketing of new construction, as well as resale properties, primarily in higher end price ranges.
Early in 2006, after 18 years with a large company in both sales and management, Linda and Selby opened their own company, The Legends of Real Estate. Despite the additional work involved in setting up a new company, they sold over $25 million in volume in 2006, of which $7.8 million was new construction sales.
Involvement in their profession has always been an integral part of their business plan. Kaiser served as chairman of SMC in 1994, and president of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors in 2003. Linda is the 2007 president of the Northeast Florida Multiple Listing Service, where she has served many years as a director. Linda is also a director of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and has for many years been a member of the Professional Standards committee, twice serving as its chairman. Both Selby and Linda are active in the Florida Association of Realtors, serving as directors and Selby served as District 1 vice president in 2005.
