Three violinists from the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra provided a midday musical interlude Thursday in the Hicks Auditorium at the Main Library. Performers Max Huls (left), Piotr Szewczyk and Andrew Bruck (background) performed several selections of contemporary compositions including six world premiers. Free concerts at the Main Library continue Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with “Echoes of the Empire” featuring baritone Robert W. Tudor and pianist Scott Watkins.
