NAIOP ended 2007 on a high note with more than 16,500 individuals from 5,800-plus companies identifying themselves as members.
The record-setting membership includes more than 3,700 people joining in 2007 alone, increasing membership by 14 percent from 2006.
NAIOP also launched new chapters in Southwest Florida and Indianapolis to accommodate growing interest around the country.
In addition, NAIOP’s fastest rising population is the Developing Leaders category for those 35 and younger. The 1,290 members in this segment have spurred the growth of the Developing Leaders program, including an online resource center with news feeds and message boards, and two new National Forums, special interest groups for NAIOP members that present them the opportunity for exclusive networking and experience exchange with their peers.
