If you’re a fan of the Mac and Ballou Show on AM-1010, now you have a chance to meet the stars in person. Former Jaguar Tom McManus and Rick Ballou (who has worked in Jacksonville and Tallahassee in the past) will broadcast their show live from the stage at Hemming Plaza every Wednesday in June from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
“This is a great location. We love it when we’re outside and meeting our listeners,” commented McManus.
Having the radio show in Hemming Plaza is part of the Make a Scene Downtown! entertainment programming, said Christina Langston, public relations manager for the City’s Special Events Department.
“The radio station is a great partner and I think this is the first time a live sports radio broadcast has ever originated from Hemming Plaza,” she said.
